Renovate is committed to user privacy.
The policy on protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Renovate is based on the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This law impacts EU-based organizations and requires any person or company that operates a website/portal to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website/portal. This privacy policy must state which information is being collected and notify those individuals or companies with whom their information is being shared.
The SmartAgriHubs Innovation Portal aims to connect people and technology. To do this effectively, we make use of personal data registered in the profile/log-in account. We attach great importance to the careful handling of your data.
Who can see your data?
The owner of the Renovate website and controller of your data is Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC), based in Barcelona at Carrer Jordi Girona s/n. To reach UPC, you can send an email to [email protected].
The Renovate platform may provide links to third-party sites. In order to use third party content on our website and portal, you may need to accept their specific terms and conditions, including their cookie policies over which we have no control.
Why do we need your data?
We will use the data to grant you access to Renovate platform or to keep you updated about the project progress. To facilitate this, we need the data registered in your profile account or in our subscriptors database.
What will we do, or not do, with your data?
Your personal data will only be used in the context of the Renovate Project. UPC & project consortium members (partners) makes every effort to protect your data. Only registered parties will be able to view the data that you fill in. Unregistered parties will not have access and your data will not be sold to third parties.
How will you use our platform?
When you register to the Renovate platform, you are at least 18 years old. Without permission, you will not send personal data obtained on the platform to third parties.
What data do we collect?
To have a fully functional portal, we store your:

- – Surname
- – Company
- – Country
- – Postal address
- – Type of organisation
Do we use cookies?
This portal uses web analytics service provided by UPC. Cookies (small text files stored locally on your computer) are used to help analyse how people use this portal. The collected information, including your IP-address will be stored on servers in Spain. UPC & partners will use this information to generate reports on the portal usage. UPC & Partners will only share the collected information with third parties when legally required to do so. Your IP-address will not be combined with that of other websites or other data sources that are available to UPC & Partners.
What are your rights?
You have the right to access your personal data and/or to improve it, add to it, delete it, or block certain parts of it at any time. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, when processing is based on consent, as described above.
